Contrary to some speculation Morse Code is not a dead duck, but alive and well although once the Foundation examination is passed there is no requirement for Amateurs to be proficient. Morse
practice is sent on 145.250 Monday to Thursday 09:00 to 10.00 as GB2CW, run by Brian G4OOC. |

The recent Foundation Licence course was run from 20th October 2007 for two weekends. Congratulations to students who passed, non
successful
students please, please, please enter the exam again, you may well pass easily next time....Good Luck.

The Advanced (Full) Licence Course will not run at North Wakefield Radio Club during 2007, due to lack of applicants. |
North
Wakefield Radio Club have three Lead Instructors, John
G4RCG, John G0EVT and
Dave G4IAU who run regular Foundation Licence training courses as
soon as six or more candidates are ready to take a course. The normal format
is 3 hours on a Saturday and Sunday followed by the same the following weekend
with the exam on the second Sunday, but other formats may be available.

Morse Tests
Brian
G4OOC is our RSGB Morse Examiner and although no longer a requirement for
HF operation he is able to run a Morse Proficiency Assessment for budding CW operators.
Please contact Brian for details of practice sessions or if you want to take a morse test.
