The contest site
Using the call G4NOK/P, David G4RQI, John G4RCG and Steve G3VMW operated from the bottom of the cricket pitch at the East Ardsley Cricket Club while Tony 2E0ZRL kept us all fed and watered.
 
Equipment: FT1000D, MicroHam Keyer, Laptop & Writelog Antennas: TH6 @ 70ft, 40m dipole @ 80ft, inverted V dipoles for 160m & 80m.

This contesting is such hard work for John G4RCG !!! I reckon a nice bunch of daffodils would look nice in there !!.
I well remember a very similar photograph of Brian G4OOC in his car doing the same thing, that was back in 2003 I think. John does usually manage to spend a few minutes at every contest or special event in this manner, he's even been known to do it at Elvaston Castle Rally.
